OUTREC
The thesis that refused to stay theoretical — a bootstrapped, live product for getting gloriously lost in the desert. Weak business model; unbeatable education.

clarity by design, truth by habit, North Dakota by choice
it is , and the clock has decided to rest
The first act was a 180-page college thesis that refused to stay theoretical. It became OUTREC: meetings with industry-leading OEMs, venture pitches, a development team in Moldova, and a live product — bootstrapped, pre-AI, built by hand. The business model was weak; the education was not. Betting most of six figures of my own money on it was the price of admission — and one of the best times of my life.
Then Qwick, running marketing operations at 23 — six figures of monthly ad spend, integrations, KPIs, a return defended on every dollar — alongside alumni of Uber and Google, on the best team I've worked with, while the platform's users doubled. My heart wanted to stay. The analysis said aim higher.
Buffett's first rule is to never lose money. Mine became a question: how do you keep the downside controlled while the upside stays open? In 2022, before ChatGPT was even ChatGPT, the answer was already visible — connect AI to an API, and whole categories of work reorganize.
So I spent three years outside of tech, by choice, somewhere between San Francisco and New York: North Dakota. Planning, saving, watching. About the current project I can say very little, except that it is the largest opportunity of my lifetime. Certain hours of the day I live a decade or further in the future; others, the 2010s. I will be world-class from any geography. Maybe in hindsight this timeline will make more sense.

Hospitality's missing staff, summoned in real time. Marketing operations at growth speed: heavy spend, tight ROAS, users doubling.
North Dakota's most awarded marine & powersports dealer — fifty years, Bismarck and Minot. The family business, and the present tense of my timeline.
The largest opportunity of my lifetime. That is all for now. The rest is still melting into shape.
